Best they can get me is 7mb download and they have no intention of improving it. Tough to work from home at that speed. Feels like 1980 and not in a good way.

They throttle

Great customer service, technicians are professional and on time. However, I pay for 40mbs and they throttle it down to about 22mbs from the box to my devices. You might want to get a WiFi repeater so they can't throttle your WiFi. All in all, decent.

Installation

We are a small business starting out north of Greeley, CO and we had our installation done today. I can’t speak for future experience, but wanted to note that the technician, Tony, was excellent. If all components of CenturyLink are of the same caliber as his service, we’ll have no complaints. Thanks, Tony!

No communication!!!

Monday October 21, 2019 a little after midnight the Internet went down. Called ixfinity and a recorded message said that they are doing a maintenance in our area and the Internet won’t be back up until 6:00 am!! Why does it take that long??? Why couldn’t Ixfinity inform their customers of this??? Now we have no WiFi to run all of our security cameras and security alarm system for our house!!!! Very frustrating !!!!!

Never Use Windstream as a Service Provider

Since beginning service with Windstream, we have had nothing but issues. The biggest issue was disconnecting service for our business. It has taken over a year and I am still receiving invoices charging us for paper invoices we should even be receiving. I have contacted the company numerous times, and issues have not been resolved. If you are a business, I would strongly suggest using another company and save yourself some headaches.

Is This Fraud?

I'm paying for unlimeted high-speed access. Stats: down .8mbps and up .3mbps. This is considered high-speed? No, it's considered fraud.

Amazing customer service

I was having issues with my new modem that couldn’t be solved over the phone so the customer service agent, who was amazing, helped me out by scheduling a no-cost tech visit to solve the issue.

Friendly and helpful customer service

Tech was great. He helped me set up my internet and we didn’t have any issues during the setup, unlike some of my other experiences with other Business. It only took me about 4 minutes to reach an operator.

Nice folks

Very nice folks who work for this company.. their speeds & pricing is unbeatable for the country.

Tech was great

The tech did a great job trying to find me good deals to stay with CenturyLink. I was already committed to a 12-month contract for the other service so I was not in a position to take advantage of the offered deals. I will call them back in a year. I consistently got the internet speed I paid for but the price per Mb was high for today's standards. Within the past 6 months, I have had to reset the modem almost daily, generally because CenturyLink DNS would quit responding to requests (traceroute shows the network is still connected, dig shows no DNS response). In all fairness, that could be a local issue. Phone service was great, but you get a lot of scam calls on a landline.
