Overall experience
Customer service is decent, in fact sometimes painless to talk to when changing a plan to a different package or hearing them out on their explanations about why something cannot be. 4 MegaBits per second is good for one person or two, but not really for a house of 5 different and simultaneous user that either stream or game. Sure the QoS (Quality of Service) can be conflicted by the amount of users connected, but even when no one is home, there are moments of heavy packet loss, high latency or the LTE tower that connects us goes out for extended amounts of time (around 3 to 28 hours and occurs about 3 times in a week). The value, in my opinion, is fair and that is because of the environment. Yes, i am aware that there is a 9 Mbps package but they simply said that it just can't be. So perhaps choose a plan and stick to it.
About Our Choice Broadband Speed Test Tool
Whether Choice Broadband is your internet provider or you use a different provider, the speed test below can show key statistics about your internet connection.
Use our speed test to check the quality of your Internet connection whether you use Choice Broadband or another provider. The dials above will display results on download and upload performance. These two results are the main signs of broadband internet quality. As of January 2022, Choice Broadband’s national average download rate is 9.44 Mbps. Throughout their footprint, the average latency on Choice Broadband Internet speed tests is -1ms. For context, terrestrial connections generally perform in the 5–70ms range. Satellite broadband connections, on the other hand, can be as high as 500–800ms.
Note: This speed test can be used to test any internet provider, not just Choice Broadband .
If your Choice Broadband speed test result is lower than expected, try resetting your router or call Choice Broadband customer service for additional assistance.
