BEWARE
I've been a customer for years since there's no other choice in my area with comparable chance of speeds. For the first group of 10 who signed up in this community, the service was definitely at par with claims. After the number of subscribers began to increase, our speeds and reliability decreased likewise. Repeated calls to customer service brought no real resolution. Often barely 1/2 speeds of what we pay for -- WISPER averages about 6-7 MBPS when we pay for 10 but they (WISPER) still demand 100% payment. Their claim is its the trees.....the very SAME trees that where there from day 1 when service was fine, BEFORE they oversold the service in this area. Several call service personnel even admit they have oversold the area. So i say be warned. If you are new to WISPER and among the first dozen or so subs, then you will have pretty good service. But expect it to dwindle as they fill their coffers with more and more subs in your area without upgrading the tech. I suggest that the owner should spend more time seeing the effect of this aggressive expansion on his business in the real world and less time giving self promoting interviews about getting his customer satisfaction from church meetings. Buyer be warned...
Amazing speed and great installer!!!
We just recently got Wisper Internet, and it is truly amazing. The speed is great, the reliability is great, even when using multiple devices. Our installer was amazing and super helpful and was just as excited as we were for our new internet service. Thank you Wisper!
By far the best service
Wisper is by far the best internet provider I have worked with. No interruption in service with storms. Always punctual when servicing the house. Great communication. I am deeply upset that I am moving to an area that is out of their service.
Great Service for Wireless Internet
I switch from old ISP 6 Mbps to Wisper 10 Mbps. It was only 20 dollar difference to switch to Wisper. At first, I was hesitant because this service was provided with a mini dish using a line of sight. I don't regret switching to Wisper internet. They did mention that you may experience interference during thunderstorms or ice storms. There may have been a little degradation through storms, but I never lost service. I recently switched to 20 Mbps allowing Wisper to advertise on my lawn. This saves me $40 a month. I couldn't be happier. There is no modem to reset. With Wisper Internet, you get the speed advertised. I definitely recommend this service to those in rural areas.
