    About Our RTA Speed Test Tool

    Whether RTA is your internet provider or you use a different provider, the speed test below can show key statistics about your internet connection.

    This speed test will assess the capability of your Internet service whether you use RTA or another provider. The dials above are designed to display statistics for download and upload throughput. These metrics are the primary signs of broadband performance. As of January 2022, RTA’s average download speed is 10.34 Mbps. Throughout their footprint, the average latency on RTA Internet speed tests is -1ms. For context, terrestrial connections usually output latency results in the 5–70ms range. Satellite Internet broadband connections can be in the range of 500–800ms.
