Fastest speeds, excellent service
Martin Mcnally on February 18, 2019
We moved into a new neighborhood and had the option to get Comporium fiber. The speeds are excellent. I can speed test easily 80-90% of my service speeds. We switched to a different ISP to try it out and save a little, the service was typical cable Internet, speeds were up and down and inconsistent, we would average 50 Mbps download on a good day. Such a shock after having access to 750 Mbps download prior. We switched back to Comporium with no regrets.
Wish we had another ISP
Rv on September 14, 2017
Going into 2018 and this is still the only option available in town so you're stuck with mediocre service and their unreasonable prices! Really wish Google Fiber or another ISP would run their own lines in town to create some price competition..
Rural vs City
Tm A Customer on September 11, 2015
Fiber optic connection and speed in Gilbert/Leesville (rural area) is great. I never had any problem at all and I was so very happy with it! Fiber optic is not available in Lexington and the service here in my new home is awful. Fewer choices and much, much slower speed for more money. It's slow, unreliable, and unpredictable. The stars are for my current (city) connection; before they would have been fives for the latter three.
