I've been a LocalTel fiber customer for many years at multiple properties. Their customer service is great. I've always had 100/10 fiber before and it performed as expected with good speed and reliability. I recently upgraded to gigabit fiber and the performance has been disappointing. I cannot achieve speeds above 460mbps even on a wired connection. This is low compared to the national average of 700-800mbps for gigabit fiber. Granted it's faster than 100 but for $75 a month, I expect to get better than 46% of the advertised speed even with overhead.

I've had the SkiFi service for a little over a year. The service has been excellent. I do get the speed I'm paying for and their tech support is very responsive and always available when I need them....which hasn't been often.
