Verizon High Speed Internet Installation

Self-installation and professional installation are available options for Verizon’s DSL internet.

Verizon Fios requires professional installation which can cost up to $99. Additionally, there is an equipment rental fee of $12/month or a one-time price of $199. Alternatively, customers can opt for their own modem or router. Certain bundles or plans offered will waive the fees.

Xfinity Installation

Xfinity offers two options for installation: self-installation and professional installation.

If customers have never had Xfinity from Comcast installed before, then professional installation is required, which costs up to $90 depending on the plan or bundle purchased. If the area in which customers live is already wired for Xfinity service, then self-installation costs $15. Both options are one-time fees. The difference between the two is professional installation supplies a certified technician while self-installation provides a rental toolbox for customers to set up their Xfinity service.

Speeds are great ever since we switched to Verizon FiOS, we pay for 200 Mbps up and down and get 330Mbps up and down, speeds are consistent and never slow down, customer service is also good. I would recommend Verizon.

Dependable internet service

Verizon High Speed Internet

We have been a residential phone and DSL service customer of Verizon for over a year now. We have recently moved due to the cost of reaching close to $300 per month. We now pay close to $100 per month. That includes the phone, internet, and a line maintenance agreement that includes the line inside the house that Verizon does not cover. We started having issues with our phone line becoming noisy with static and the internet would disconnect and reconnect especially in wet weather. We “dealt” with it until the point where it was out more than it was on and we used all of our mobile data to get internet here at home. I called customer service and was scheduled to have a tech come and see if the problem could be located and corrected. He found that the drop line from the pole to the house was corroded and one of the wires inside was actually broken. He redid the drop line and renewed the line in the house itself. The connection has been stable ever since.

XFINITY from Comcast

First time Xfinity subscriber. Exceeded my expectations. I can honestly say I was very impressed with all aspects of Xfinity. I just purchased a home in Delray Beach FL. From the initial appointment call to complete installation, Xfinity exceeded my expectations. Very impressed with the Tech. The tech arrived early. He introduced himself and ask me about my expectations. He explained what he was going to do and would have me watching NFL football today. Walked me through the setup and all options of the remote. I ordered cable and internet. I will say the internet service is faster than others. Very impressed with Xfinity.
