Data Caps Around Medina
Data from our market research team suggests that many of the top ISPs in Medina place a limit on streaming on residential Internet connections. Data caps are a public issue since users view caps as a tactic to stop streaming services, while providers insist they are a necessary strategy as they struggle to manage network traffic. Either way, the issue is the same: streaming video, which easily eats up one to seven Gigabytes/hr.

Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Medina
Poor Customer Service.
The issue is that I was told by them that my modem was out of date and I needed a new one. Ever since then I have had problems with my service. I have called numerous times and never gotten a call back from anyone. This has been going on for months now. Most recently I called last Thursday but still have not heard from anyone there. Usually, they say “you just need to reset your modem”. Wish I knew who to contact to get this straightened out. My son takes classes online and has had problems taking his test and quizzes. I can not recommend 1Tennessee to anyone because of their poor customer service.
I have used this service for a long duration and also infrastructure. 1Tennessee has made few improvements in regards to stability. Any purchasing customer can expect random outages and also the need to disconnect and reconnect their modem multiple times a day at varying times. Customer service is not available on the weekends, so don't expect anything special in terms of response time to any problems. Being as the providers in this area are limited, it is disappointing to be held back both with business and recreational use. The company also does not advertise their upload speed. I will update if I notice any improvements.
