Internet Providers in Anaheim, California

The internet providers that are available in Anaheim depend on which pockets of the city you live in. Let’s look at which providers offer wired internet service in select areas.

One provider that stands out for its availability is Spectrum, which covers 93.8% of Anaheim. It’s accessible to nearly all neighborhoods, regardless of whether you choose a stand-alone internet plan or bundle.

The sole provider that offers fiber internet to most Anaheim residents is AT&T Fiber, which has 31.9% coverage. Most of downtown Anaheim falls under AT&T Fiber’s coverage zone, including the apartment complexes at the intersection of West Santa Ana Street and South Anaheim Boulevard. Farther down Santa Ana Street, past the Anaheim Packing District, the homes of Colony Park have access to AT&T Fiber.

However, the homes and apartments along West Chestnut Street and South Seneca Circle don’t have access to AT&T Fiber.

AT&T Fiber is more scattered than Spectrum in terms of availability, but the good news is it services most residential neighborhoods. Both AT&T Fiber and Spectrum’s noncoverage areas are mostly businesses and public locales, such as parks and gardens.

If you really want AT&T internet service but don’t live within its fiber coverage zone, you can opt for its IPBB service. The service covers more neighborhoods west of the Santa Ana Freeway — also known as the I-5. Areas where AT&T Fiber is available but its IPBB service isn’t are the homes east of Pearson Park — the homes between East Sycamore Street and East Adele Street, as well as those between East Adele Street and East Cypress Street.
