Clayton features two major network choices to grapple with — coaxial cable (96.28% coverage) and DSL (90.31% coverage). Cable Internet access is usually provided via traditional cable TV providers using pre-existing coaxial television wires strung up on utility poles. DSL Internet is sent via landline phone lines. Most Clayton neighborhoods and census blocks can subscribe to coaxial cable or DSL from at least two ISPs.

Spectrum is also a common Internet option for Clayton, offering Cable connections with coverage in 96 percent of the area.

The average Clayton customer has 2 providers that are able to provide service at their location. Competition is desireable. It tends to improve prices and service reliability at a given address. This high level of Internet access isn't universal, however. In fact, a surprising 9.4 of residents still have only one option for wired broadband access.

Viasat Internet and HughesNet are the most common Internet options in Clayton.

Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Clayton

Excellent Service and Support

Westelcom exceeded my expectations in Service, Support, and the Speed of the connection.

Streaming 1 day per cycle only before internet is capped

I can stream Netflix for a day and them the internet is reduced so much that Netflix won't even stream. I'm basically paying for 1 day of unlimited access and the rest of the month I'm watching DVDs. It's not worth it so I'm cancelling.
