Data Caps in Summerville
Internet providers have added data limits on their residential broadband packages recently. Some major providers in the area — AT&T Internet included — have plans with data caps, according to our latest plan data. Data caps in general vary quite a bit. They typically run from 250GB all the way to one Terabyte. The majority of home Internet caps are very high, so they won't pose an issue for the majority of cord cutters. Most providers include a usage tracking meter. Data caps are on the rise as the average viewer's expectations for streaming video quality rises. If you're subscribing to AT&T Internet, be sure to verify any data limitations regarding your specific plan when talking to a rep.

Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Summerville
I have had Spectrum for a while now. I would say the price is pretty comparable to other services, but the reliability is horrible!! The app goes down at least once a day and the internet will go offline at least 1x a day and runs slow even though we have their highest package. Sometimes the WiFi won't even reach the next room.
Forced to upgrade
While Xfinity internet is indeed the best deal in the market (Mbps), customer service just hit a new low. Usage caps have been imposed in the middle of a billing cycle. So customers need to upgrade or cutback. With two adults and a full-time college student in the account, we have no option but to upgrade. Some notice would have been nice.
