Orlando’s best internet provider is AT&T Fiber. AT&T actually offers two types of internet in Orlando: Fiber internet (AT&T Fiber) and IPBB internet, which is similar to DSL (AT&T Internet). The one you want is AT&T Fiber, which offers lightning-fast speeds up to 5 Gbps and has plans that start at $55 per month. AT&T Fiber is a top internet provider choice across the nation, with the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) awarding it the No. 1 fiber internet provider spot with a score of 80 out of 100 in 2024.

Another excellent option is Quantum Fiber, Orlando’s other fiber internet provider. While it doesn’t have the greatest coverage in Orlando, it does offer the fastest speeds at 8 Gbps. Also, Quantum Fiber receives excellent reviews from customers across the board, and it offers Wi-Fi 7 connectivity on its fastest mult-gig plans. On top of all that, Quantum Fiber provides Price for Life on its plans, meaning you don’t have to worry about price hikes (unlike you do with Spectrum). It’s hard to go wrong with either of the city’s two fiber providers. If you can get either of them, you’ll be in good shape!

If fiber isn’t an option for you, we recommend one of the city’s two cable internet providers as a fallback. Unlike most cities, Orlando is served by two different cable providers. If this makes it sound like you have a choice, however, prepare for disappointment: Spectrum serves 91.1% of Orlando, and Xfinity serves , and there’s virtually no overlap between the two. Expect to find one — and only one — of the two cable providers available in your area of Orlando.

While we don’t recommend them as highly as we do AT&T Fiber and Quantum Fiber, we do consider Spectrum (with speeds up to 1 Gbps and prices starting at $50 per month for 12 months) and Xfinity (speeds up to and prices starting at per month) to be solid options in Orlando. If you can’t get fiber, consider these cable providers before you consider DSL, 5G home internet, or satellite internet.
