Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Salinas
Not much for the money
My landlord won't allow a satellite dish or cable hookup, so the only internet available to me in my area is through a hot spot. I have Verizon, so I got a hot spot through them. Their "Unlimited" plan maximum data allowance is 15GB per month. After that, it's "throttled". The associate promised me that it would be plenty for streaming movies, etc. However, I'm a heavy user, so it usually only lasts about half of the month. After that, the throttling slows it way down. And, it's not nearly fast enough to stream anything after that. My plan is about $50 per month, which is not a lot, but I would pay more for truly unlimited data.
