The cable/DSL pattern comes from the fact that most Internet providers are former cable TV and phone corporations, and use pre-existing wired networks for delivering broadband services. Data Cap Issues in Visalia

Data from our researchers suggests that common providers in the area use data caps for their residential broadband plans. Data caps are a public issue lately since customers see them as a tactic for limiting streaming services, while providers explain that data caps are a reasonable strategy for managing network traffic. Either way, the culprit is over-the-top streaming, which easily consumes anywhere from one to seven Gigabytes/hour.

Customer Reviews of Internet Providers in Visalia

Only provider in town. Reliable.

The service is reliable and decent relative to the area. It can handle Netflix and a steam download at once. I am happy with the service, albeit unsatisfied with the speeds. I still have a hard time sharing files for professional use(large files/video edits/cad files) but it does most of the basic tasks efficiently.
